Senior Divorce & Family Law Litigation Attorney (Mentorship-Opportunity | Hybrid)
New York, NY | Hybrid (In-office: 1 World Trade Center & Remote Flexibility) Rudyuk Law Firm, P .C.
About Us
Founded by Ksenia Rudyuk, Rudyuk Law Firm, P .C. is a boutique New York City practice devoted exclusively to divorce and family law primarily in Manhattan and Brooklyn. We are known for our integrity, strategic advocacy, and compassion in complex, high-conflict, and high-net-worth matters.
As our firm continues to grow, we are seeking a senior attorney who shares our values — someone who will help us expand ethically, with compassion, integrity, and purpose, while making a positive impact in the New York legal and civil community. We are looking for an attorney who enjoys litigation and who could serve as a leader to the junior staff.
The Role
This is more than a senior attorney position — it’s an opportunity to shape a growing firm and take charge of its legal department.
You will be the first senior-level hire in this capacity, working directly with the Founder to build, mentor, and lead the firm’s litigation and family law team.
We’re looking for an accomplished Divorce & Family Law Litigator (10–12+ years of experience) who:
- Loves the practice of law and courtroom advocacy
- Finds fulfillment in mentoring, teaching, and developing others
- Wants to help design and elevate a firm’s legal culture and standards
- Thrives in a collaborative, boutique environment
- Desires to focus on practicing law, not operations
This role may be ideal for a solo practitioner ready to join a respected, resource-rich firm — without the day-to-day burden of running a business, or someone who is ready to leave Big Law but wants to remain a part of a Firm.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, manage and work on complex matrimonial and family law cases from start to finish
- Provide hands-on mentorship and supervision to associates, clerks, and paralegals
- Shape and oversee the firm’s litigation strategy, systems, and professional standards
- Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, handle hearings, trials, and appeals
- Partner with the Founder on firm strategy, growth, and attorney development
- Foster client relationships built on integrity, transparency, and trust
What We’re Looking For
- 10–12+ years of New York divorce and family law litigation experience
- Excellent courtroom, writing, and negotiation skills
- High emotional intelligence, ethics, and professionalism
- Excellent reputation in the NYC legal community
Compensation & Growth
- Billable hours requirement: reasonable, sustainable, and negotiable
- Salary: negotiable and open to discussion, starting at $200,000+
- The firm’s strong financial foundation allows for a competitive and rewarding compensation package, with room to grow in the years ahead.
- Attorneys who bring a book of business will receive tailored compensation arrangements, reflecting the value of their client relationships and contributions to the firm’s continued success.
Why Join Us
- Shape the Firm: play a defining role in building and leading the legal department
- Hybrid Flexibility: combine in-person collaboration with remote autonomy
- No Operational Stress: focus on law, not management and operational headaches
- Collaborative Culture: work closely with the Founder and a strong, supportive team
- Ethical, Purpose-Driven Mission: help elevate family law practice in NY
- Long-Term Stability: join a high-performing firm with consistent growth and vision
From Our Founder
“We are building a firm grounded in excellence, empathy, and ethics. If you still love the art and purpose of lawyering — and want to help shape a firm, lead a team, and inspire others — I would love to hear from you.”
— Ksenia Rudyuk, Founder
